Chrome’s Tokyo LTD

“When I started this project, I didn’t know anything about Chrome and what a messenger bag is. I learned from my apprentice that Chrome is a brand that is deeply connected to the bike and skateboard culture also. Nowadays, tattooing is considered more of a fine art than it was in the past, modern tattooing has become a blend of street culture and sub culture.” – IKEBUKURO HORITOSHI1

I am a huge fan of the Yalta, and now you can have a mondo piece to add to your bag collection!  This Yalta transcends and urban cycling/skating beer carrier status.  It truly is a collection piece with art from Horitoshi1 that is 47 years in the making.

Make sure to check out the Chrome Tokyo Series that also consists of their Citizen; as well as, the history behind this collaboration and Ikebukuro Horitoshi1’s story!  Ride x Create

Cadence: Merino Wool Cycling Cap

Tis the season Folly friends.  If you want your bean to be chill free this winter, make sure to pick up Cadence’s Merino Wool Cycling Cap!  Head on over to the Cadence Collection to checkout other rad pic’s of this sweet multi-season reversible head warming cycling cap.

“Reversible soft and warm Merino wool winter cap / Ear flaps for those bitter cold days / Flip them up when the weather turns for the better / Reversible 2 color breakups in one hat / One size fits all /  Made In USA”

Cadence Quality

A couple weeks ago Cadence put on a rad sale of some of their apparel.  I’d been eyeballing the Conzelman since it dropped last fall but didn’t need a jacket at the time.  Once I saw the massive discount, and with Fall weather creeping in, it was a no brainer.

This mondo 5 pocket, cycling purposed, micro loft jacket will keep you warm, dry and protected from the wind in signature Cadence style!

The hand crafted detail in this jacket is something that you will value with any Cadence product you pick up.  The rip stop type nylon used is something I highly value.  It will help keep this piece of apparel together during whatever Ride x Create venture I partake in.

The day after I received the Conzelman I headed out to Arkansas to chill with my good buddies Kyle Steed x Brenton Little for a weekend of nature and camping.  Rain, wind and cold had nothing on the Conzelman as it defeated all of the elements

Although this review is a bit late (and the Conzelman is sold out), I wanted to bring to your attention the quality of products from Cadence.  No matter what product you pick up from the collection, it will always keep you clothed in style without lacking any function.

I hope your weekends were creative and productive, filled with Ride x Create vibes.  Take advantage of the season with some campfire action and cross riding shenanigans.

Finger Whale: Illustration Brought to Wood

Had a blast this weekend bringing Mr. Little‘s illustration to wood.  I didn’t get as much riding in as originally planned, but the outcome of creativity was well worth it.

I had come upon this used piece of 4×6 3/4 in. plywood and brought it to Brenton Little’s attention that I want to make something mondo with it.  He immediately responded with the illustration of his “Finger Whales“.  Although it’s not the complete illustration, this was a challenge and I dig it.

I loved working on this project and looking forward to creating the next Illustration Brought to Wood.  Happy Monday Folly friends. Ride x Create

Firefly’s Titanium Disc Cross

Not only is this sucker American made titanium eye candy, it’s a disc cross speed machine…. with a Di2 set up!!

I swear Firefly went into my dreams and created the most lavish cross bike I could ever conjure up. I love this thing!

I’m a huge fan of Thomson seat posts/stems, but I have to hand it to Firefly; custom titanium seat post ingenuity makes my mouth water.

The cable routing on this ride is so rad!  Make sure to check out all of the other photo’s on Firefly’s Facebook page.

Happy friday Folly friends.  I hope the beauty of this cross creation inspires you to Ride x Create this weekend.  Go grab you some fine bourbon, hike, camp, infuse your entire wardrobe with the scent of campfire and ride your cross bike through all the land. Cheers!
