Bikeminimalism: Back In The Saddle

It’s official, Bikeminimalism is back up and running full speed ahead!  Along with their re-established pursuit of bringing you the best in Urban Cycling, they have picked up Mr. John Amunét to spread his amazingly creative vibe via photography and cinematography.  Amongst other things, John is an all around cycling bad ass.

“We are also in the process of producing a monthly/bimonthly TV-show focusing on fixed gear bikes, riding, swag, product tests, shop visits and general nouveau art shit around bicycle culture.” – Mikko

I’m personally looking forward to see how Bikeminimalism brings all the greatness that is cycling into a sweet TV-show!  I’m sure it will be interesting, informative and above all, motivating to get your ass out on the road and ride!!

Eighthinch Butcher frame build and bike check from Benjamin Le bon A Mckenzie on Vimeo.

I love bike build video’s!  My anticipation and excitement grow as the build progresses!  It’s hard to compare the feeling of putting together your bike from start to finish then heading off to dominate the streets!

I’ve been extremely busy this last week and to top it off, I was up all last night reviewing what I ate that day… in my toilet.  With that said, I need to replace the BB on the Surly.  It sounds like it’s officially metal on metal (minus lube) or who knows what.  I haven’t rode it in about 2 weeks.  I’m missing the open road.  Unfortunately I wont be able to get it in a stand until next week.  Nevertheless, I have my my ‘Taxi’ fixed that i’ve been spending a lot of time on commuting around town and to skateparks in the local area.  Fairdale knew what they were doing when they created the Skaterack.  Until I invest in one of those awesome creations… I’ll rely on my dope Chrome Delta to carry my board successfully and comfortably from skate spot to skate spot.

Only one more day left Folly friends… then it’s the weekend, which will be filled with endless creative possibilities.  Ride x Create
