Toy Machine Demo

The Toy Machine demo was legit!  It’s pretty impressive to see the Ride x Create vibe naturally ingrained in these dudes.  Within minutes they had picked out some impressive lines, then dominated them.

As I continue to develop my photography skills using an iPhone, I learn that perspective trumps equipment used.  Not that I take epic shot (like @kylesteed/@brenton_clarke), but some come out by accident better than I originally planned.  When I first saw this shot of Leo as a silhouette, I was bummed.  I intended for the viewer to check out Mr. Romero in all his glory as a pro skater.  After enhancing the photo and adding a BxW filter, it just popped and I love it.  Plus I tagged Leo (IG @cuates) figuring he probably doesn’t see dope silhouettes of himself getting rad! He dug it.

Dude!  Collin can get up there! The park (IG @insanityskate) was packed, so I pretty much hung out at this one spot.  Pretty good spot I must say.  Mr. Provost was flying high.  This was shortly after he skyrocketed off a 8 foot quarter into the coping of the parks full halfpipe. Absolutely nuts.

I’ve been personally inspired by Josh Harmony for years!  Huge motivation from his style of skating, what he stands for and his continued passion to create great music!  Plus, he really digs our board, pretty rad!

Another weekend down; filled with Ride x Create vibes from start to finish.  This week will be no different as we continue to work on new creative projects and soak in this great fall/winter weather.

This week will be a bit busy as I will be traveling most of it.  Our publication may have a short intermission, or not.  Really depends on the circumstance of traveling shenanigans.  With that said, please feel free to follow our Instagram (@createfolly) to catch everything in between.  I hope all of your weeks are filled with inspiration, good food and good company.  Cheers

BAMAcross #7

Had such a blast this weekend! The sixth and seventh race in the BAMAcross series took place.  Saturday was a good and cold night race.  Already amped from leaving the Toy Machine Demo, Davis and I show up to the CAT 1 and 2’s straight hammering it through the sand.  Bourbon in hand via my trusty Stanley flask, I kept warm and verbally harassed the racers appropriately.

Got a good nights rest in, then prepared for my go at the course.  It was a pretty fast course at that.  Davis was kind enough to capture a photo of me dying as I hoofed it through the barriers.

One of the many reasons I dig cyclocross.  Sam (IG @iamyoumetoo) perminently displaying Get Rad Vibes!  It was cool meeting Sam after all the racing shenanigans finished; then to find out he’s been following our IG HA!  Love it.  Ride x Create vibes flow deep with this dude!

As always, had a blast this weekend.  The race was dope, expecially followed by the mondo Toy Machine demo!  Cheers, I hope you all have a great short week to enjoy this fine Thanksgiving.

OH, also… make sure to follow our Instagram (@createfolly) for an inside look at the shenanigans that take place on our journey to spread the Ride x Create vibe across the land.

The Quickdraw

Inovation at its finest!  Some of the best creations in the world come to fruition from a simple idea.  Burro has takin into consideration a need by you, the homie, and incorporated a small twist to the concept.  In my personal opinion, this is the be-all/end-all U-lock holster.  Who can beat this design… no one.  You’re welcome, to the last U-Lock holster you’ll ever need.  Cheers

“Our holster is the first fully adjustable one on the market. Not only does it adjust to any 4-6” U-lock, it can accommodate any size belt and is easily removable. No longer do you have to take your belt off and risk your “fat pants” falling down or accidentally whip a cute girl in the face just to take off your holster. Ours attaches directly to your belt (while it’s still on) with the same industrial-grade Hook-and-Loop we use to keep our world famous pedal straps secure so it stays in place but comes right off when you want it to.” – Burro
