Southern Carnage // Mobile Bike Repair

I had the opportunity to hang out with Jory in his bike repair mobile.  Very unique set up this fellers got!

Along with his solid set up, he’s got a loud sound system that makes me dance.  If you like to dance, and are in the Northern Alabama area, you should come hang out!

Make sure to check out Southern Carnage and give Jory some love!

Chrome // Bravo Night

Bravo Night

Le bad ass!  Night lurkers be informed. The Chrome Bravo now comes in this very visible, very solid M3 reflective brilliance.  A thing of beauty really. Safety without lacking any style points or function.  It’s only $20 more than the non safety havin Bravo (DISCLAIMER: You can still be safe with the non-reflective Bravo… duh!), which is pretty great considering the size of the reflective goodness on the back of this guy.  Forget your lights? Not a problem, you have a massive reflective bag!

Go to Chrome and check’em out for yourself! They just went live 30 minutes ago!!  I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Wilderness Shenanigans

I got really motivated by Kyle and Brenton’s trip to Colorado and decided to explore my own local landscape during the 4th weekend. Well, that along with the gash in my palm that limited me from riding a bike, and the rain that stopped me from scootin via Le board, and the blisters on my feet that kept me from running… Hiking was the next best option!

I don’t really ever hike, at all. So this was a pretty cool experience on several levels.  I knew rainy/foggy weather tend to promote better photos (thanks Kyle/Brenton) and I wanted to explore all that.  BAMA has been Portland’esk these last 4 days and I’ve been loving it.

Spider Twig

Nature is a huge inspiration to me (I know “so why don’t you hike more”).  It’s always changing and brings a peace like nothing else.

The Unwilling

I’ve never been present when a tree falls naturally.  I could imagine this would have been a sight to see.

The FallenI hope you enjoyed my little rainy weekend recap. Sure we’re all becoming “photographers” these days, with which I am not, but I do love pushing my limits and developing a better perspective of the world around me.

2013 Alleycross // Cogzilla’s Recap

Le Dismount

Really great write up on Cogzilla of the 2013 Alleycross race in Birmingham, AL.

Initially had plans to go and race in this 30ish mile alleycross style race… but then I decided to bust open my palms and have yet to get back on a bike (blah blah blah excuse excuse excuse).  Nevertheless, I’m really pumped that the Cogzilla crew hooked up the race with snaps and a write up.  I’m looking forward to next year and hope you fine folk will be in attendance.
