Review // DZR Mechanic

imageI’m really amped on these! In my humble opinion… these are the best DZR kicks created to date. Simple functional design that delivers.

The DZR Mechanic’s are a little bit narrow but not without room for play. ‘How is that’? The material used is super compliant but not lacking stiffness in the areas you’re going to pull/push on with each peddle stroke. I have a fatter foot but love the narrower feel of these shoes. As you know, when you wear and tear into new shoes there is that fun (Editors Note: There is an F U in fun) break in period. These simply don’t have that issue. Riding is amazing. Walking is amazing. These are amazing.

The only riding I’ve had with the DZR Mechanic’s to date are for morning coffee outside rides. I expected to be annoyed by new clip in sneakers but honestly forgot I was wearing them as I captured photos for other rad things happening. Extremely solid and comfortable shoes.

Head to DZR and check out the Mechanic. If you are in the market for some of the best clippable sneakers created to date then these should be your pick.

Great Easter Cutlery // Farmer Lock Farm & Field Tool

imageThis is an amazing, simple, solid, American made knife! I am in love with this cutter! The Orange Delrin handle is perfect! The carbon steel blade looks and feels really solid. I imagine this knife being something I pass down to my son and telling a story of all the rad times I had using it. It’s funny how little things like knives can bring out sentiment like that. The more this is used the more of a story it will tell.

Details:

  • Measures 3 3/4″ closed
  • Blade is 2 3/4″ long
  • Spear Point Blade Shape
  • Blade is 1095 Carbon Steel
  • Brass Lanyard Hole
  • Made in the USA

I picked this Farmer Lock Farm & Field Tool up at Ocean Air Cycles. Really glad I nabbed one.image

You Never Lose When You Cruise

image

I had a few different events going on this weekend I probably should have dedicated my time too but I opted to cruise and relax instead. No time frames. No direction. No nothin’. Just me, my ride, and beautiful skies. This weekend was much needed.

It started with coffee outside using fresh Hobo Rouleur beans from Ocean Air Cycles and everything else fell into place.

Here are a few shots exploring different environments my local area has to offer.
