This weekend was filled with exploration sessions (as you can see from this post and the two below). With weekends like these I always have a bike exploration session hangover come Monday, leaving me in a daze, daydreaming about hanging out in nature all day. Satisfied and craving more all at the same time.

When you’re in the mood you’re in the mood. The East has been getting pounded with snow. Even all the way down to Alabama. I took full advantage utilizing our State Bicycle Co. Megalith not only to dig deep into the snow but go find some fun spots to soak it all in.

Like peas and carrots.

Nothing goes more appropriately together like snow and a fat bike. And normally when this beautiful combo comes together in a geological location that doesn’t normally get snow; the town is yours to dominate as you see fit.

Here are few fun snaps from my trip to get “bread and milk” (disclaimer… I neither got bread nor milk but that’s what people say you need when it snows).

I’ve never been more pleased with a Chrome Industries wearable product like I am with their Warm Work Shirt. Perfect combo of a lot of things. High style mixed with high visibility (aka strategically placed super reflective accents) mixed with a very light weight but very warm mid / top layer piece of winter defeating apparel.

To be honest, it reminds me of the cold weather M65 Field Jacket Coat Liner I wore in the Air Force many moons ago, only way more stylish but equally as effective.
