Here is a little introduction from Matt via his blog:
My season is just getting under way but to begin with let me introduce myself and how I first got into cycling.
It all began with me riding on a BMX doing tricks and playing around from around 11 or 12 years old. I used to work at a little bike shop and go in on Saturdays and help out and from there I got introduced to the track.
My dad was fit and one of the first things we did were tandem rides and also the Manchester Century which is a 100-mile event. After doing that and after having a few crashes on the BMX and realising I wasn’t that good at it the track was just a nice progression. I took to it really well and it was nice and well organised with some like-minded people there. So it just took off when I was about 14. READ MORE

Yesterday was a good day. As you know, we are a new fresh off the press blog centered around riding and creating. From fixed gear or any style of cycling to skateboarding, we love and promote it. There is a certain level of creativity that comes out of each and everyone of us when we ride! It is the drug that drives us to do more, create more, ride more!
TRAFIK, Leader, and Bikeminimalism showed us love yesterday and we are greatly appreciative! This year is going to be the year of production for us. We have a passion and this is our output. RidexCreate!!
Since I know you are all sitting around waiting with anticipation for the perfect product to send our way… here is a big hint!!

I was so pumped from that last post I wanted to follow up with a little insight from Peter DiAntoni.
(Photo’s from Peter DiAntoni’s Flickr Photostream)
“I’ll never forget my first “professional” photo assignment… two good friends, a pro skateboarder and I were given a gas card and a big bag of film from Transworld Skateboarding Magazine to go photograph skateboarding throughout the South East United States. I ended up getting one full page photo in the story and remember the feeling in had seeing it in print for the fist time…
I still get that same feeling over and over again when I flip through the pages of the publications looking for a recent assignment.
This hits so close to my heart! What an inspiration. Peter DiAntoni defines the #RidexCreate mentality perfectly.

“My name is John Woo, not the “Face off” director. I am a designer and illustrator. But I quite sure we have many things in common. We both love art, grow up in Hong Kong. I studied design in local school, and most of times, I study by myself.” – John Woo
