Levi’s x VSCO : Go To Work

Levi's VSCO DWL

This is SO. GOOD!!

This should be a sign to all you goons that Levi’s isn’t lacking any level of quality.  It’s the details that matter. Levi’s got together with VSCO to create 2 presets that will represent the feel of their products well, LV1-LV2.  It’s a FREE download for all you VSCO lovin’ hooligans (yes I downloaded it immediately).

This tool via VSCO will come in very handy in the next week or so, as I will be reviewing the new #COMMUTER Line from Levi’s. They’ll be put to the test. Photos will be taken to document said test. Good times will be had.

Thanks VSCO x Levi’s!!  You guys rule.

Here’s a friendly reminder of all the rad cities the Levi’s Bike Shop will be traveling to. Now GO TO WORK!

Yonder Journal // Apocalypse Training

Nowhere

Oh man!  This is so good!

“I thought I was preparing for a dystopian apocalypse—which is it turns out more of middle-age apocalypse—but instead, I learned that with good friends you can be nobody, nowhere.”

Go to Yonder Journal to read the rest of this Report.  I promise you’ll be glad you did.

YNOT // The PAN-YAY!

YNOT Pannier

Pannier On Rack

Coolest pannier seen to date!

“The rugged styling of the YNOT Pan-Yay! echoes the distinctive aesthetic of our messenger bags & backpacks, while offering the benefits of a rack mounted bag. The Pan-Yay! fits most racks with simple and secure mounting hardware. The roll-top closure allows maximum carrying flexibility, while maintaining the ideal positioning for weight distribution. A ripstop floating separated liner, combined with a heavy duty exterior provides excellent protection from the elements. Three exterior pockets are the ideal place for water bottles and an oversized u-lock. The handle can be extended with a clip-in shoulder strap for off-bike use. Front & rear reflective decals keep you visible on the road.” – YNOT

Crossing State Lines

I’m starting to explore my rural surroundings.  Starting in North Alabama, I pick a direction (mostly North and West), pack what I need and go.  These exploration rides (appropriately tagged #ruralridersrule) normally aren’t any more than 60’ish miles, but I try to expand my routes each time I role.

No Trespassing

My goal is to map a beautiful route of about 300 miles.  I’ve never gone on a bike/camp trip and have the itch to do so.  The Southeast is filled with old rundown towns and buildings. Farmland is everywhere. It’s beautiful.  The only problem I’ve run into so far is, everyone has big ass trucks on tiny roads and most back country farmers have no use for us tights wearing “hippies”; so they’re not very generous when it comes to sharing the road.

Model 101

I do my best to take the road less traveled, but at the end of the day, I’m on a mission to explore. Sometimes this is a bit dangerous. Pushing your limits whether it’s riding or creating generally always takes a risk. But let’s not take risk for the sake of risk taking.  Identify said risk, confirm it is or isn’t necessary, then commit to what needs committing to to accomplish your goal.

Ten I See

I hope your weekends were full of good times!  I had a blast.
