“This year’s course starts and ends at the Chris King factory and is designed to satisfy the cycling aspirations of our Gourmet Century riders. The majority of the course rolls through the picturesque plains of the Oregon countryside. At one point, riders glide across a flat 3/4 mile section of hard packed gravel. The route starts and ends with challenging climbs that will instill our riders with a sense of accomplishment and stoke their appetites. With around 1000’ feet of climbing, each of these climbs was picked for its expansive views and lack of vehicle traffic, in addition the Gourmet Century staff will be on hand with support. While you ride through this course, each turn of the pedals is meant to complement the exceptional cuisine made by this year’s wonderfully talented chefs” – Chris King
