The Lucky Cat IV had an amazing turn out! We totaled about 45-50 racers and a ton more fine folks came out and supported (aka drank beer with me). The prize table was packed from our amazing sponsors! I can’t thank you guys enough for hooking us up with so much rad gear!
On top of the sponsorship goods love, we had some craftiness with a custom banneresk quilt hand made by local supporters! Pretty rad and unique.
As the time came to smash the streets, Mr. Dustin Hoover entertained the crowds with his bicycle trickery!
Ah, the prized trophies! Unfortunately I was busy keeping everything dry when it came time to distribute the goods to the winners. A short, convenient downpour graced our presents right when it was time to announce the winners. I’m sure one of the two photographers that were in attendance will have some better shots. I’ll keep you posted as they present themselves. We also had a hand full of racers hooked up with GoPro’s! Can’t wait to see the edits from that!
This was an absolute blast to be a part of and helped build the cycling community in the BAMA area. This will most definitely be one of many events Folly will be involved in this winter/year to come. Thank you all who helped out and supported this event, I can’t say it enough! Cheers!

I’ve been using the Wahoo system with my iPhone 4 for a little over a year. Since upgrading to the 5, I’ve been computer and tuneless. This set up is perfect from my perspective. It gives you Bluetooth control of your iPhone that most, if not all cyclist carry on their person when off on a ride. This little gadget will allow you to utilize the Wahoo system for many years to come. With a coin cell battery life of a year, you won’t have to charge this sucker up every other week. For all of you dedicated iPhone users, I highly recommend taking a serious look at this mondo system.
