Chilled-Out Street Photography by Ed Templeton

imageI always love Ed interviews. They’re insightful and inspiring. Goal this year… pick up a 35mm pocket point x shoot and start to develop film photography skills.

“I just want to show life in an unvarnished way.” – Ed

Go check out Ed’s interview by Will Morley as well as a few great photos. This is my favorite of the bunch.

Reason 2 Believe // Daniel Cutcliffe B-Sides

“Reason 2 Believe is the latest full length video brought to you by Christopher Thurber and Peter Karvonen of Faith Skate Supply. The video is filmed by Christopher “Cricket” Thurber and edited by Hunt Fanelli. For news of how to buy go to Faith Skate Supply.”

This is some of the best raw skating I’ve seen in a while! I love that it’s right out of Birmingham, AL. Go check out Faith via link above.

Logan Wilson // Skate Park Sesh

imageimageSkateboarding has progressed so much. I love heading to parks and connecting with rad skaters like Logan Wilson. It’s truly inspiring and challenging to capture folks like Logan. That goes for Chris Rost or an rider who’s willing to have me creap on their sesh.

I hope you dig. Check out more on our VSCO page. (Editors Note: all images captured with an iPhone and edited with VSCOcam. Cheers!)

Sitka // Strange Things Trailer

Strange Things from Sitka on Vimeo.

Sitka is always nailing it! I love everything about this. I can’t wait to watch it. Enjoy!

“Pipe Dreams rarely come to life. Often they are a result of over-consumption, and just as often, they are forgotten by the time the sun rises. On that rare occasion however, when the cosmos align, these dreams really do have a chance to become reality. I had first made the Yukon claim some years ago under such very circumstances. From time to time the idea would pop up again, excitement would rise, yet seemingly would recede back into pile of “maybe’s” and “one day’s”. Until finally the day came where logistics were settled, and it seemed as if it may be a plausible journey after all. With several recent additions to the Sitka team and the Yukon on the table, it seemed only natural to head towards this uncharted skateboard territory. And so alongside Chris Haslam, Sheldon Meleshinski, Brett Stobbart, Colin Nogue, Zach Barton, Fabian Merino and Dane Pryds, accompanied by our two master lensmen Ben Gulliver and Dave Ehrenreich; adventures were well in the making under these 24 hours of sun.”

Go to Sitka and check out their radness!

Top 10 Posts of 2013

Posts are a funny thing. I can put up something that seems like an ordinary post (only taking 10 minutes) or I can spend days on one (photo taking/editing/verbiage adding), and get better results out of the 10 minute one vs. the 48’ish hours one. It’s pretty fascinating to watch which posts makes the cut each year.

*(Editors Note: I post stuff up that I personally dig and am only paid by the good time vibes you send with each positive response. Thank you for that!)

Researching and sharing my passion is what builds FOLLY.  That in conjunction with Kyle’s amazing design are the motors that drive our brand. We are FOLLY. We push are limits when we ride x create. That will never change. Thank you for your support and continuing to subscribe to our shenanigans year after year. Cheers!
