HOOK IT UP!

#minicampstagram

Wow, such an amazing weekend hanging with my bro’s Kyle and Brenton!  The level of creativity that presents itself when we get together is beyond explanation.  It does my heart good to get out in nature.

This photo of Kyle is pre-departure on the waterfall hike we did in Petit Jean State Park.  So beautiful.  The weather was perfect and some solid photo sesh action took place.

Brenton captured some sweet shots on the top of Pinnacle Mountain State Park.  I had the opportunity to put my Cadence Conzelman Jacket to the test.  Review to come later this week; not so much about this sold out jacket, but more about the solid, functional and stylish apparel you will receive from DKlein.

Brenton doing his job well, scoping out the amazing landscape of the waterfall at Petit Jean and reaping the benefits of nature.  This place has so many environments all in one place.  From the South-West desert canyons to the damp North-East.  It was amazing!

After we got done exploring these amazing places we took a seat on a high rock that overlooked everything, popped open our Stanley flasks, and enjoyed some quality bourbon while we soaked in the beautiful landscape!

Make sure to take a look at #minicampstagram on IG to check out all of the amazing shots Kyle, Brenton and I took this weekend.  I’m sure this week will be filled with many more as we process all the awesome that is in our Photo Steam. Time to go Ride x Create.

We don’t post surfing very often, but when we do, it’s because the Ride x Create vibe flow deep with the content.  Sitka rider Pete Devries very much houses the Ride x Create vibe!!  Cheers to you Sitka and Mr. Devries! You compliment each other very well.

Waiting for the olympic road race from Erik Jonsson on Vimeo.

I love edits like this. Erik describes this vid as a “scrambled edit”, but I see nothing scrambled about it.  I love the chill vibe and the beauty he has found during the wait for Olympic cyclists to pass on by with epic speed and grace.  Well done Erik.  Your creative style along with The 5th Floor is impressive and inspiring!  Ride x Create

Chrome Supports Veterans | Military Salvage Program

“In honor of Memorial Day, Chrome is launching a Custom Military Salvage Program for U.S. Military veterans & their families. If they bring in their military duffles or fatigues to one of Chrome’s four HUBs (SF, NY, CHI, or PDX), we’ll use the material to create a custom Citizen Messenger bag.” – Chrome

This is very cool.  I served 6 years in the Air Force, so I have a lot of respect for those that serve or served.  As you should be very well aware by now, I really dig Chrome and everything they promote/stand for.  This is a really cool way to show appreciation to our Veterans.  Check out the rest of the awesome process to turn this duffel bag into a dope Citizen Messenger!  Ride x Create!

“Last year US Army Vehicle Commander Jared Morford of Watertown, South Dakota reached out to Chrome to make a Custom Salvage bag with the duffle he carried to Iraq. Chrome’s Custom Salvage Citizen was born.” – Chrome
