This is a Public Service Announcement: Sometimes hanging with friends requires headlamps… and that’s ok.

When In Doubt, Davis It Out.
“Hey dude, care if I bring the FaTRoB by? I need to adjust my canti’s and keep effing them up!”
With Davis’ superior knowledge and my superior ability to bring beer… we had this knocked out in no time.
Go to FOLLYxFILM to catch the rest of the photos. Amped on how these turned out!
Wheeler Ride With Davis x Greg

Riding the Wheeler Wildlife Refuge is always fun. It’s more fun when you’re riding with these two dudes. I’ve been riding with Davis for many moons, but this was the first time riding with Greg. Greg knew a few routes on the Refuge I’d never ridden that nailed it!
Why am I posting these two shots? They are the first film ride x shoot I’ve done. My Yashica FX-3 Super is fully mechanical. I did my best to preemptively measure the distance I’d shoot these shots at and snap away. They turned out way better than I thought they would.

Wheeler. Smash!
My pals Davis Yarbrough and Greg Curl let me tag along yesterday as we rode all over the Wheeler Wildlife Refuge. I was introduced to a couple new sections that were pretty bad ass! This place is constantly amazing me. AND… is a quite a bit harder to ride than meets the eye. I love it!

If you’re in the North Alabama region you should definitly come check this out.
Film // Starting At The Bottom
I’m on my 3rd roll of film and I think I’m starting to get the hang of how this low end Vivitar PS:30 works best as well as film in general. To date all photos posted have been with and iPhone. I wanted to expand my knowledge of photo taking so I figured “why not start at the bottom and work up”. The Vivitar PS:30 has allowed me to do just that.
OH… what’s that? You want to know what my dream point x shoot camera is? That would be a Yashica T4 as it should be. Just go check out TytaniumLife and The Athletic.
I hope you enjoy the photos below. They are from several different events.
Sunset ride turned to booze cruise:
Davis Yarbrough Captures BMX Riders
As you have already read in a post not so far down the line… Davis and I went to a BMX Jam last weekend. I shot with my iPhone/Vivitar PS:30 (film yet developed) and Davis nabbed shots with a Pentax k1000 x ILFORD film you will see below. Pretty rad perspective.

Davis Yarbrough // Thursday Nights

Last night was a blast! I love riding with good ol’ Davis. I rode his world famous blue shred sled that is ALWAYS fun to rip on.
The night started like this.
Le Text:
Me – What’s up dude. What are doing this afternoon?
Davis – Thursday night ride, probably.
Me – Word. I’m free. Care if I ride your blue whip?
Davis – Yeah, sure.
Me – Headed your way now.
And away I went for a night full of peddling goodness. I show up at Davis’, he’s rocking a tall boy and playing Nintendo 64 (10 rad points achieved). Helment, bibs, and shoes on… away he went, scoring that last touchdown on whatever the game was. Listening to vinyled MGMT Davis freshly acquired on national Record Store Day… I got amped to smash around town!
Although you FOLLY fanatics may not give one care about this story… I want to encourage you to get up with your friends this weekend and ride the unridden, familiar streets/dirt/graveled paths, etc.
A good Friday indeed. Cheers!
