Explore Everything Rides
I finally got free to just go explore my local area and find all the cool spots I’ve yet to ride. No time restraints, no agenda, just the spirit to find the unfound.
These are 15 iPhone shots edited with VSCO from 2 different ride x explore sessions. I should be getting the film shots developed soon.
Also… the FaTRoB is the best exploration tool ridden to date. Completely in love with this machine.
FOLLY x BRYANT FaTRoB Pre-Order Comes To A Close
This is the last week to pre-order your FOLLY x BRYANT FaTRoB. I’ve been riding all over (and by all over I’m not exaggerating) the land on this solid hand build machine!
I talked with Joshua recently and expressed how much fun I’m really having on our FaTRoB. It has been the most pleasurable experience I’ve had on two wheels since I started riding. It’s so versatile and can be ridden on almost all terrain.
If you are teetering on picking up the special edition FOLLY x BRYANT FaTRoB I recommend you do so by Sunday. Although I’m partial to how amazing this ride is, I don’t think you’ll be able to ride yours without a constant smile on your face.
I hope whatever bicycle you choose to ride brings you the same joy day in, day out. Cheers!
**Here’s a few shots from my ride, soaking in the vibe:

Travel To Nowhere
A lot of times when I get on my bicycle I have a plan of where to go, how long I have to get there, what to see along the way, and so on. This weekend I had none of that.
Being a newer Dad, Husband, growing this thing we call FOLLY, and still working 40 hours at a place I refer to as “The Time Suck”… my time has been spread thin to explore without schedule. I got on the FOLLY x BRYANT FaTRoB about 6 pm on Friday and didn’t come back till about 3 pm the next day. You’d think I would have had a lot more miles than the 80 that I put in, but I took my time, stopped to see friends/places I generally don’t stop and visit.
One of the highlights of the ride was stopping at this construction creek (creek had been there for decades) mid day and cooling off. I can’t explain properly how refreshing it is to dip into a cold creek on a hot summer day. If you’ve never experienced this before… I highly encourage you to do so. You most likely will stay there longer than planned.
I’m sharing this with you in the hope that it will encourage you to break free either solo or with friends to ride, camp, and explore. I did this solo in my local area and had a blast.
FaTRoB On The Mountain
Dude!! Rode this sucker on some smooth and haggard mountain bike trails… IT PERFORMED LIKE A DREAM!!
I rode with 40 psi in the tires, starting on road, climbed the Monte Sano mountain (faster than I’ve ever climbed it before fyi) and hit the trails on top. Keeping the same tire pressure I rode impressively fun stuff. When I got to section I thought I should get off and hike… the thought hit me, “Time to test this bikes abilities”, and IT PASSED WITH FLYING COLORS!!! Seriously, handling was so good and smooth on some pretty rough stuff.
With all that being said… this bike kills on all levels. Go to FOLLY x FILM to check more shots of this guy in the woods.
Joshua Bryant // “Musings on the Oregon Outback”
“I’ve sat down several times to write about my experiences during the Oregon Outback and every time, I feel like words have fallen short of the experience.”
I love reading about Joshua’s experience with the Oregon Outback. As I’m on the cusp of having my FaTRoB built up, reading statements like this, “I rode my FaTRoB prototype during the Outback and I loved it. Every time I get on the bike, I can’t help but smile at how much fun it is, how it handles and how I love the build”, gets me super amped to thrash on this #getradmachine!
I hope you’ll go check out the full story over on Joshua’s site. Really great insite and photos to go along with it. Cheers!

The Radavist // FOLLY x BRYANT
“Why do I like this frame? How could you not?” -John Watson
Sooooo, this is pretty rad and unexpected. John (the Radavist) Watson meet up with Joshua Bryant during yesterday’s Mt. Diablo ride and took several shots of Joshua’s personal FOLLY x BRYANT Fatrob. These three shots are my favorite. Head over to The Radavist and check out the rest.
FOLLY x Bryant // FATROB Sneak Peek
I couldn’t wait any longer! Here’s a sneak peek of our collaboration with Cycles J. Bryant (Joshua Bryant) in all of its raw unbuilt beauty! This one (my personal ride that will be featured this weekend at the Detroit Bike City Expo) is the 700 x 45c version called “FaTRoB Steve” with the FOLLY x Bryant custom Venom’esk flat black paint and white hand drawn decals! I can’t wait to build up this handbuilt Get Rad Machine!! There are two other models we will offer in the limited FOLLY x Bryant colorway called FaTRoB Dixie and L’iL FaTRoB, make sure to check those out.
After Joshua displays the Get Rad Machine in all of its glory it will be shipped, build, and ridden all over the land!! Also… as I’m sure you could imagine, I will do an indepth breakdown after I get my hands on it. Check out the vibe of the FaTRoB in Joshua’s own words
“You remember that feeling you had as a kid when you swung a leg over your bike and blasted off towards your friend’s house linking cul-de-sacs and unfenced yards and dirt trails to get there? Or how you felt that first day you rode 10, 20, 50 or 100 miles? I wanted to design a road bike that reunited me with those feelings of freedom and exploration starting from the ground up. I came to the drawing board (literally) with no preconceived notions on what this type of bike should look like, but I thought about how I want the bike to respond to the riding that I grew up doing and find myself gravitating towards again. Kind of like if you took a CX bike, Randonneur, and go-fast Road bike and ran them over with a steam roller. Take that hunk of iron and produce one bike that could do it all. An adventure bike without equal. A Fat Tired Road Bike, or FaTRoB as I like to call it. All the necessary features and nothing you don’t. A feeling of youth you could grab in bike form for just $1950 frame and fork.” – JBryant
The FOLLY x Bryant collaboration FaTRoB will be available for pre-order purchase next week. I’ll post ordering details then. Make sure to follow us on Instagram with #getradmachine to check out all the rad that will be this ride!! I hope you guys are as pumped as we are! This 100% designed, hand built, and Made In America beauty is going to be so. RAD!!! Cheers!!
