Two of my favorites just made a kit baby and I’m in love.
Great work The Athletic x Argonaut Crew!

I’m mostly amped about this new version of the “You Got This” socks. Loved the first round. REALLY love this set up.
“When we made the first You Got This sock we had no idea that it would take off the way that it did. We should have known because anything associated with our friend Cait tends to do well.
Well, we decided that a new color was the way to go for this season and Cait’s only requirements were that it was “bright” and “fun.” Can’t see anything wrong with that. As with the last ones we will be donating the proceeds to Cait’s charity of choice – First Descents.”
BUT THERE’S MORE!!
OMG! (insert high pitched valley girl sounds)
This is the cycling community taking care of their own. Not only do you get a rad shirt, you get to help a fellow peddler in a time of need.
“We will be donating $10 for every shirt sold to Aaron’s bills fund. If you would like to donate further, head over to his GoFundMe Page » Aaron Vs. T6. Every shirt comes with a “Yo Thanks!” decal that Aaron has provided as his way of saying thanks for the support.” – The Athletic
I just ordered mine. I hope you’re as pumped on this as I am.
RIDE. CREATE. SUPPORT.
Love these! Go to The Athletic and pick’em up while you can.
“The pinnacle of pouch technology brought to you by Jonesville & Tytanium.
Designed to keep all your pocket goodies sweat free.
Ultra durable Cuben outer with sail cloth inner.
Larger than previous versions to accommodate most if not all smartphones.”
“It’s still wool socks season, isn’t it?” – The Athletic
I’d say so! Go to The Athletic and pick up these beauties before it ISN’T wool sock season. Jah blessed!
“Complete Team (twizzlers not included).
We partnered with House Industries and the Richard Sachs Cyclocross Team to bring you this fantastic team race sock. House Industries did the design and illustration for the wrap as well as the sock — each color is directly associated to the riders bike color. The fonts used on the wrap and the foot of each sock are from their newly minted Velo Collection.
Designed in Portland. Made in the USA. 6″ synthetic aireator sock.
Shipping 10-15 Days.”
If there is one company taking the Nation by storm it would be The Athletic. I had the pleasure of popping into the shop, hanging out with Jeremy, and picking his brain a bit. It’s always a pleasure to meet folks you’ve had an internet connection with in person. Following each others work, getting amped, then to share stories over a beverage couldn’t be more appropriate.
The shop displays its hours via Instagram at random depending on what works best for Jeremy and Julie’s schedule. It’s a bitchin’ way to do business if you ask me. I’d say that model wouldn’t work for most folks, but that just further defines why The Athletic is sweeping the nation… they just have it.
Below are a few shots I took of the shop and Jeremy racing in the second to last Cross Crusades race. I hope you enjoy.
Go to The Athletic and check out all the radness therein. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
“I prefer crashing on a mountain bike or a cross bike because crashing on a road bike is a super bummer.” – Cait
That was a fun read. Although I’ve never met Ms. Dooley, she seems to be a pleasure to hang with; always helps me remember to focus positive and have fun.
