The Toy Machine demo was legit! It’s pretty impressive to see the Ride x Create vibe naturally ingrained in these dudes. Within minutes they had picked out some impressive lines, then dominated them.
As I continue to develop my photography skills using an iPhone, I learn that perspective trumps equipment used. Not that I take epic shot (like @kylesteed/@brenton_clarke), but some come out by accident better than I originally planned. When I first saw this shot of Leo as a silhouette, I was bummed. I intended for the viewer to check out Mr. Romero in all his glory as a pro skater. After enhancing the photo and adding a BxW filter, it just popped and I love it. Plus I tagged Leo (IG @cuates) figuring he probably doesn’t see dope silhouettes of himself getting rad! He dug it.
Dude! Collin can get up there! The park (IG @insanityskate) was packed, so I pretty much hung out at this one spot. Pretty good spot I must say. Mr. Provost was flying high. This was shortly after he skyrocketed off a 8 foot quarter into the coping of the parks full halfpipe. Absolutely nuts.
I’ve been personally inspired by Josh Harmony for years! Huge motivation from his style of skating, what he stands for and his continued passion to create great music! Plus, he really digs our board, pretty rad!
Another weekend down; filled with Ride x Create vibes from start to finish. This week will be no different as we continue to work on new creative projects and soak in this great fall/winter weather.
This week will be a bit busy as I will be traveling most of it. Our publication may have a short intermission, or not. Really depends on the circumstance of traveling shenanigans. With that said, please feel free to follow our Instagram (@createfolly) to catch everything in between. I hope all of your weeks are filled with inspiration, good food and good company. Cheers
